Our Process
Most companies mitigate and hand you off to a contractor. Apex does both, so nothing falls between the two. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you call to the final coat of paint.
Our Proven 3-Step Restoration Process
Assess & Contain
We evaluate the damage, stop it from spreading, and build the plan on the spot.
Mitigate & Restore
Industry-leading equipment to extract water, clean smoke and soot, and dry the structure to standard.
Rebuild & Repair
Skilled craftsmen erase the signs of damage and return the property to pre-loss condition.
From the first call to the final walkthrough
You call, our team answers
Dispatch is answered by our own team in Grand Blanc, not a national call center. We take the details, tell you what to shut off, and put a crew on the road.
On-site assessment
Technicians arrive within two to four hours, walk the property, identify every affected area, and flag safety risks before any work starts.
Contain and stabilize
We stop the damage from spreading — water extraction, board-up, tarping, containment barriers — and build the scope of work on the spot.
Mitigate, dry and clean
Air movers and dehumidifiers run continuously with daily moisture monitoring. Soot, smoke and odor are removed with certified methods. Equipment comes out when the readings say dry, not on a schedule.
Insurance documentation
Readings, photos and scope are documented from the first visit and shared with your adjuster so the claim moves alongside the work.
Rebuild and walkthrough
The same team rebuilds drywall, flooring, trim, paint and roofing back to pre-loss condition, then walks the finished space with you before we close the job.
Paperwork shouldn't add to the mess
We document moisture readings, photos and scope from the first visit and coordinate directly with your adjuster, so the claim moves without you chasing paperwork.
Do not wait for insurance approval before mitigation begins. Insurers generally expect property owners to take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage, and fast action protects both your property and your claim.
