The invisible risk in Michigan basements
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that rises from the soil and collects in lower levels of a home. It is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers, and much of Genesee, Oakland and Lapeer counties sits in the EPA's elevated-potential zones.
The fix is straightforward when done right: seal the entry points, draw the gas from beneath the slab, and vent it safely above the roofline. A properly installed system typically brings levels well under the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L.

Test
A continuous radon monitor runs 48 hours in the lowest livable level and reports your average in pCi/L.
Install
We seal cracks and sump openings, core a suction point through the slab, and run a sealed PVC vent with an inline fan above the roofline.
Verify
A post-mitigation test confirms the drop. You get the report, a system manometer to watch, and a written guarantee.
